I MAKE PEOPLE HOT AND STRONG

One night at 2am a few years ago, I sat in bed on my computer making stickers for my business. I thought long and hard about what message I want to give off, and what strength training means to me. One thing led to another and I ended up with bright green stickers that say "you are hot and strong," alongside an icon resembling a tattoo I got on a whim a couple of years ago. It doesn't seem that serious, but it actually is.

The difference between someone who feels hot and confident and someone who doesn't has a lot more to do with what's going on internally than externally. And that's where strength training comes in.

Proper strength training is not just exercise – it's an intentional, goal-oriented process aimed at continuously pushing your body further, breaking down barriers, and surpassing prior expectations. It's about facing your limitations, and putting in the work to overcome them.

There are all sorts of moments in our lives where we face challenges, confront failure, and overcome limitations, but few are as personal and intimate as training can be. Training is between you and you – it's about learning to compete with yourself, challenge yourself and fuel yourself. It's about growth, resilience, and proving to yourself that you are capable. And this lesson doesn’t end in the gym, it extends to every part of your life.

This is where the magic happens. This is what makes you feel hot and strong. And this is what I want for everyone who trains with me.

but what does that mean?
